Best Mo and Krill build in Deadlock

Watch your step before you run into the Tunnel Rats.

Sometimes, all you need in MOBAs is a big body to stand in front and soak up damage. And in Valve’s upcoming third-person MOBA Deadlock, not many heroes are as burly as Mo and Krill.

For those who prefer to jump into the frontlines, soak damage, and get up close and personal with their enemies, here’s the best build for Mo and Krill in Deadlock.

Mo and Krill’s abilities in Deadlock

This terrifying duo comes from the depths to surprise their enemies, while also launching some powerful crowd control to hold their opponents in place while the rest of their teammates follow up. They’re also very tanky and can soak up a ton of damage as they stand stalwart in front of their squishier friends.

Here are all of Mo and Krill’s abilities in Deadlock:

  • Scorn: Mo and Krill deal damage to enemies around them and heal themselves based on 0.7x of the damage dealt. The heal is stronger when applied against enemy heroes.
  • Burrow: Mo and Krill burrow underground, allowing them to move underneath all enemies, gain bonus movement speed, spirit, and bullet armor. They will, however, be slowed when hit by enemy attacks. When they jump up from the ground, they knock any enemies into the air and launch a spin attack that damages and slows all that are hit.
  • Sand Blast: This ability sprays sand that disarms any enemies struck in front of Mo and Krill, while also dealing some damage. Disarms both heroes and minions alike.
  • Combo: Mo and Krill launch a combo attack that holds one enemy hero in place, stunning them and dealing damage. If an enemy dies while under Combo’s effects, Mo and Krill gain permanent maximum health.

Early game

In the early game, you should take advantage of your high health and relatively high fire rate with Headshot Booster and Hollow Point Ward, which increases your damage to headshots while also increasing your weapon damage when over 60 percent health. Enduring Spirit, on the other hand, gives you bonus health and lifesteal, while Sprint Boots gives you some much-needed movement speed.

Finally, Mystic Reach and Infuser allow for your abilities to reach farther for better-ranged attacks, while also giving even more lifesteal and power for your Spirit abilities. Overall, you’re looking to soak up damage and dish it out at close range whenever it’s smart for you to do.

Mid game

Torment Pulse is a great item to buy for the mid-to-late game since it periodically deals Spirit Damage to two nearby enemies, while also giving you more health and Spirit Power. Afterward, Fleetfoot allows you to move at the normal movement rate while firing your weapon without any penalty, while also giving you more speed and bonus ammo.

Enchanter’s Barrier is great for Mo and Krill’s durability, while Enduring Speed continues to pile on more movement speed for this lumbering frontliner. As you continue to lay down suppressing fire, Mystic Vulnerability will make your target susceptible to other major attacks from DPS and burst heroes, while Point Blank will slow them down in a teamfight.

Late game

Finally, there are only a few items you’ll need to become a monster in the late game with Mo and Krill. First, Spiritual Overflow gives bonus Spirit Power when you fire on enemy heroes with your main weapon. And since you’ll constantly be blasting, you should always have a good amount of Spirit Power at your disposal.

Phantom Strike is also a great ganking tool since it not only instantly teleports you to an enemy, but also disarms and slows them enough to land a massive combo right after. With Colossus, you should be able to shrug off damage and crowd control alike as Diviner’s Kevlar applies even more Bullet Shield, Spirit Shield, and Spirit Power after you’ve used your ultimate ability.
