Astralis and FaZe Clan reach the ESL Pro League season six finals
Two more teams punched their ticket to the ESL Pro League Finals last night, as the December event is shaping up to be yet another tournament of high caliber CS:GO teams.
Astralis and FaZe Clan earned themselves spots at the $750,000 offline finals from Dec. 5 to 10. The Danish side currently have a 15-9 win-loss record in the 14 team league, while the all-European squad holds a 14-10 record. They hold the number two and three seeds in the standings behind Fnatic, who clinched the first European slot for the finals stage.
Of both teams that qualified last night, Astralis’ Peter “dupreeh” Rothmann has the best average HLTV 2.0 rating throughout the season at 1.19. He edged out both Håvard “rain” Nygaard and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, who had 1.15 and 1.14 ratings, respectively. Regardless of these stats, both FaZe and Astralis were tied for overall team ratings at 1.14 throughout the season so far.
The teams already set to attend the ESL Pro League season six finals in Odense, Denmark include Fnatic, SK Gaming, and OpTic Gaming.
Action in the ESL Pro League will end tomorrow Nov. 11, when the three other teams from the European region will be decided for the playoff stage of season six.
