Call of Duty’s server issues are persisting for a second straight day, with many players being unceremoniously greeted by yet another error code.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone gamers are reporting that the ‘Logging into online services’ error is appearing in abundance this morning. This comes one day after the ‘Timed out waiting on player stats’ NIAMEY – KINSER error plagued gamers.
This new issue appears unrelated to yesterday’s, as @CODUpdates posted late last night that “relevant services have been recovering and are now considered healthy.” The game’s servers appear to be unhealthy once again, however.
A quick perusal of the Activision Online Services page reveals that both MW3 and Warzone are experiencing an outage on all platforms, so players don’t need to worry about anything on their end for the time being. This issue is up for the powers that be to fix.
Fortunately, it seems as though whatever was occurring is being fixed in real time, as players are slowly reporting how they’re able to connect to the servers. I just connected to MW3 myself, so the scary period of downtime may already be coming to an end.
Take solace that even if you’re currently unable to connect, Activision is on the case and CoD should be back online for you shortly, if it isn’t already.
