In a separate Reddit post on Jan. 8, Treyarch teased a “very Zombies-specific date” coming next week—which we predicted would be Jan. 15 in reference to Element 115. It turns out we were right, because Treyarch has announced that Jan. 15 will be 115 Day.

Treyarch promised that “this year’s Zombies celebration is bigger than ever.” The 115 Day Celebration Event will feature double XP, double weapon XP, and double Nebulium Plasma in Zombies from Jan. 15 to 18 on all platforms. Three new Epic Elixirs will be introduced for PlayStation 4 players, among other Elixir balance changes.

In addition, Gauntlets will be introduced as a new Zombies mode that features “curated 30-round challenges with unique rules for each round.” And on Jan. 15, Treyarch said it’ll have even more information about future content coming to Zombies in the 1.12 update planned for late January.

Treyarch once again mentioned the new looting interface that’s coming to Blackout on consoles. Two new limited-time modes will also be introduced to Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode next week.

Finally, Elevation and Madagascar—the two newest multiplayer maps—will be added to the full map rotation for anyone who owns the Black Ops Pass. Treyarch additionally mentioned the launch of League Play once again, which is now set to be added to the game by the end of January.

There should be a lot of changes and new content to enjoy in Black Ops 4 starting with next week’s 1.11 update.
