What to do before you turn 18

Before you can join the mafia in BitLife, you need to have a reputation so that the organization will trust you. At eight years old, you can start committing small crimes such as pickpocketing, shoplifting, or just engaging in some mischief. I tried to commit at least one crime in the game every year.

At 11 years old, you can start committing burglary, which starts a minigame where you need to steal as many things as possible while avoiding the owner of the place and maybe their pet. When you reach age 14, the crimes you can commit become more extreme, like murder and grand theft auto. At Sweet 16, you can commit train robbery and bank robbery.

When you turn 18, click on the occupation menu and go to the Special Careers tab. The Mafia Job Pack will be labeled as free, but you’ll have to watch an ad to unlock it. Open the Special Jobs tab again and click on the Mafia option. You can choose between the Irish Mob, Latin Mafia, Mafia, Russian Mafia, Triad, and Yakuza. I joined the Italian Mafia.

You need to choose a method to join them, such as doing a small job or just asking. If you get rejected and keep trying to join them, you’ll get beaten up, so if you don’t join any mafia organization on the first try, you might need to go to prison first.

The fastest and safest way to go to prison is by robbing a bank. Inside the prison, you’ll get recruited to participate in a gang, that will allow you to make your reputation concrete. After you serve your sentence, you can try joining the mafia again and you’ll most likely get in.

How to Become a Mafia Boss in BitLife

You start as an Associate and can climb the ranks until you become the boss. For that, you need to continue committing crimes and contributing the earnings to the family. Don’t question your boss and keep a good relationship with the organization to grow in the mafia.

The best way to go up the ranks is by whacking someone while extorting them to increase your notoriety and then robbing a bank or stealing cars will get you the money. If you keep getting the family money and do any favors they ask, you can become the mafia boss in 10 to 20 years.

It’s a long career that will require you to do several things every year of your character’s life, including crimes, keeping your health up by exercising, talking, and befriending the mafia boss.
