Best PW5A3 loadout in Battlefield 6

An excellent SMG option.

The PW5A3 is one of the best close-range SMGs in Battlefield 6 due to its perfect balance of mobility, damage, and recoil control, and you must combine the right attachments to make the best loadout for the weapon in multiplayer for high kill count.

The PW5A3 is a nod to the classic MP5, and like other games, it excels in aggressive, fast-paced engagements in tight quarters where rapid reflexes matter most. The loadout I’ve mentioned below focuses on maximizing stability, sustained fire, boosting hip-fire accuracy, and reload speed, and I have tried and tested across multiple game modes, such as Breakthrough, Conquest, and Close-Quarters Battle.

Here’s the best PW5A3 loadout you can use in Battlefield 6 if you’re aiming to dominate close-to-mid-range combat.

Optic is one of the main aspects you must keep in mind, and for this SMG, the Mini Flex 1.00X is ideal. It’s a basic optic with a clear sight picture and is appropriate for fast-paced gameplay. Coming to the muzzle, go for the Double-Port Brake as it reduces recoil and marks enemies on the minimap and in-world when they fire their weapons.

The 245MM Custom is necessary to increase bullet velocity and a faster transition to ADS. The standard 30RND Magazine is enough to improve weapon draw speed. Combine that with the 6H64 Vertical grip to significantly reduce the gun’s recoil.

The standard FMJ ammunition is enough to deal damage, and the Improved Mag Catch ergonomics will slightly reduce reload speed time. Lastly, attach the 5 MW Red in the right accessory slot to slightly improve hip-fire accuracy, which is crucial when enemies jump right in front of you.

  • Class: Support
  • Training Path: Combat Medic
  • Secondary: Personal preference
  • Gadget one: Defibrillator
  • Gadget two: GPDIS
  • Throwable: Frag Grenade

I know the LMG is the Support class’s signature weapon, but I still go for the SMG as I can combine a non-stop supply of bullets and health to back me up. If you want to take the LMG route, check our best L110 loadout guide. The Combat Medic is the best training path for the Support class, as you can revive teammates faster.

For the gadgets, opt for the Defibrillator for quick revives and GPDIS to block grenades from exploding. For throwable equipment, go with the Frag Grenade if you prefer close-quarter battles. For veterans, the Smoke Grenade will give you crucial cover and revive downed allies safely.
