The relatively-unknown player revealed to his Twitter followers last week that he beat the console record on PlayStation 4. He dealt 5,137 damage in a period of 15 minutes and 28 seconds, securing 33 kills in total.

Although Dlon didn’t quite beat the overall solo kill world record, he crushed the previous console record. The current overall world record holder is Overwatch League player Lucas “Mendokusaii” Håkansson, who amassed a total of 36 eliminations just last week.

The console record was beaten using Mirage, a character available for purchase with Apex’s in-game currency. Mirage uses his decoys to distract his enemies and weave in and out of a fight. He’s a character that has the potential to outplay his opponents with his slippery nature and his innate ability to duck and dodge out of harm.

Dlon, from Stoke, England, took advance of Mirage’s skill set and went on a quick 15-minute, 33-kill rampage. Both of his teammates died in the opening stages of the game, but he continued on as a lone wolf. He prowled after his enemies, taking one-vs-three scenarios head on, and winning duel after duel. He eventually took home the win and secured the console world record.
