Apex Legends’ second Preseason update is now live on all platforms. Developer Respawn Entertainment revealed the changes coming to the game in a small list of patch notes published this morning.

This Preseason update is very similar to the first one, which mostly fixed stability issues in all platforms. The major highlight of this one is that it’s supposed to fix the movement speed bug. After being revived, a few players noticed their movement speed was considerably slower than before they died, and it led to disadvantages during gunfights in the mid and late game. Respawn says it should now be fixed.

Other than that, players on the PlayStation 4 should now experience fewer issues while running the game. GPU hangs were addressed in this preseason update along with a weird bug that caused the game to crash if the player pressed buttons early in the loading process.

Respawn also found that Mirage abilities and some Gibraltar skins were causing crashes, and these should be solved as well. The company provided no details on how these crashes related to general crashes reported by players on the PC with CPU, GPU, and other freezing issues.

Respawn made no gameplay changes or content additions, so this is not the time when we get new characters, weapons, or drivable vehicles yet. The company still seems focused on fixing Apex and any major issue that are causing players a bad experience before starting to add new stuff to the game.
