Those Archetypes won't level themselves.

Getting XP fast in Remnant 2, and ramping up those class levels, is far more important than you might think. With nearly a dozen classes in the game, and the ability to run two classes simultaneously, you’ll spend a lot of time leveling up those engrams. But how do you do it quickly?

How to earn XP fast in Remnant 2

To earn XP fast in Remnant 2 you will want to use the Mudtooth’s Elixir, the Scholar Trait, and the Sagestone Ring. These are items that add extra boosts to your XP. There are also numerous places in the game that will spawn plentiful enemies for you to farm for that precious experience.

This can be purchased from Mudtooth at Ward 13 for 500 Scrap. When used, this concoction will increase experience gains by 15% and will last for 60 minutes. The effect is not lost if you die. You will need to listen to Mudtooth tell some of his stories as you play through the campaign to get this item to unlock.

The best Remnant 2 game mode to earn XP fast

If you really want to speed-level your many Archetypes, then Adventure Mode is the way to go. The way leveling works in Remnant 2 is that the worlds you visit will always be a little higher than your current level, but after that, the world level will remain as it was when you first visited it.

Your overall level is a combined level from your Archetypes, class level, and weapon levels. So, as you progress through the game, you will vastly outgrow those earlier worlds. The trick is to go into Adventure Mode and reroll those worlds so you can explore them all over again, but against stronger enemies that yield more experience.

The best XP farms in Remnant 2

The Red Throne – Apocalyspe

The Red Throne is a great place to get XP fast. Players found that on the difficulty Apocalypse, you can gain close to 970 XP within about 30 seconds. If you go in with a level 10 archetype dual-wielding another lower-level archetype, you can farm a lot of XP.

Make sure to head to The Red Throne, allow the guards to kill you and you will then span in the Prison where killing enemies will garner much XP for you.

Tip:

Make sure to have Mudtooth’s Elixir for an extra +15% XP boost.

The Great Hall in Losomn

The Great Hall in Losomn is another fruitful place when it comes to farming XP. You’re going to want to team up with friends and have them eat the food on the table.

Now, here’s where the confusing part comes in, you need to down your teammates. You read that right. When you down them you’ll earn the Ravenous debuff. Then you must consume the downed teammates, which will grant you 2000 XP for each player consumed.

Continue this process with the enemies that come in waves and you will gain a lot of XP in a short amount of time.

Tip:

With this XP farm, the more teammates that join you the better!

The Hatchery Dungeon

The Hatchery Dungeon is a great place to gain some fast XP. What you will want to do is go to the dungeon and clear all of the enemies before you get to the next checkpoint. Do not enter the boss room. Instead, you will want to reset all of the enemies by touching the waystone. You’re now free to clear the enemies again.

Basically, this dungeon offers you a neverending gameplay loop until you gain the amount of XP you want. Some players are earning up to 3000 XP each run. You will want to equip your gear that gives you extra XP such as the Mudtooth’s Elixir and Sagestone.

Tip:

Using the Toxic Release Valve to kill bigger crowds of enemies faster and the Enigma handgun that damages many enemies at once.

How buff stacking works

XP buffs in Remnant 2 do not appear to stack, instead, the percentage increases are applied to the base value. So, if you earn 100 experience points, with a 10% buff, and a 15% buff, you will get both those applied to the original 100 experience points on their own.

In other words, the system will not apply the first buff to get 110, and then apply the second buff to that 110 for 126.5 XP. Instead, both percentages are applied to the original value of 100. It might seem like a minor thing, but it’s important to understand how buff stacking works in the game.

There are many ways to get XP fast in Remnant 2 in order to level up your archetype and even dual-wield a new one. Getting it can be tricky but following the many methods explained should ease the trudge through levels.
