The Winter Siege event trailer was revealed yesterday, and with it came a bare-bones list of patch notes. But earlier today, the full patch notes were published on the WWII subreddit.

All of the features for WWII’s Winter Siege event—including Winter Carentan, as well as the new weapons and game modes—have been added in today’s update.

A ton of general multiplayer fixes were also implemented in this patch, such as addressing map exploits on Aachen, Gibraltar, Pointe du Hoc, Sainte Marie du Mont, and USS Texas. Additionally, a penalty for team-killing in hardcore multiplayer playlists and fixes to War Mode were introduced.

Most competitive Call of Duty players will be happy to learn that a lot of fixes have been addressed in Ranked Play. In general, Ranked Play’s user interface (UI) and matchmaking ranking (MMR) have been adjusted. Ranked Play matchmaking has been further optimized based on MMR, and the playlist will also now count towards a player’s global statistics.

Additionally, Ranked Play has been updated with the latest Call of Duty World League competitive ruleset. This means you won’t have to worry about Molotov Cocktails or FMJ bullets in Ranked anymore—and the seven-and-a-half second explosive delay will prevent you from immediately dying to grenades at the start of games.

Overall, this wasn’t an extremely major update, but several minor—albeit necessary—changes were implemented. Get ready to enjoy WWII’s first seasonal event when the Winter Siege festivities kick off on Dec. 8.
