Amid a flurry of rumors pertaining to the departure of Cloud9’s star player Stewie “Stewie2K” Yip, it now appears as if the team’s long-time AWPer Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham could also be on his way out. The 24-year-old is being replaced by former Team Liquid AWPer Josh “JDM” Marzano, according to DBL Tap.

Skadoodle achieved the biggest win of his career on Jan. 28, when Cloud9 won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston. They became the first North American roster to ever win a Major event. Skadoodle is also the longest standing player on the current Cloud9 CS:GO roster.

Additionally—as Stewie2K is rumored to join the Brazilian SK Gaming roster—Cloud9 have reportedly been looking to find a Swedish replacement for its in-game leader, Richard “Xizt” Landström. Cloud9 are in the midst of negotiations with Xizt’s former team NiP as the 27-year-old is still under contract with the Swedish organization, HLTV reports.

Xizt, who competed alongside NiP for the better part of five years, was removed from the team on Feb. 13 in favor of Dennis “dennis” Edman. While the Swede was initially believed to be replacing Maikil “Golden” Selim on Fnatic, the Swedish team’s recent success at IEM Katowice on March 4, and the WESG 2017 grand finals on March 18 saw the deal fall through.

North American CS:GO is definitely in a state of flux, and if the roster moves go through it will definitely lend itself to making competition within the region a lot more interesting.
