ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals wrapped up today and here is everything you need to know.

ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals wrapped up today after a series of intense matches throughout the event. It all came full circle as we returned to one of the first matchups, G2 Esports vs Luminosity Gaming, for the $200,000 grand final.

Four North American teams and four European teams were in attendance, and Luminosity Gaming reigned supreme. Here is a quick recap with placings:

 

Finals

Luminosity Gaming took the first place prize of $200,000 after a full five maps. G2 Esports received $90,000 after a hard-fought series.

Luminosity Gaming won 3-2 against G2 Esports

  • G2 Esports won 16-10 against Luminosity Gaming (Overpass)
  • Luminosity Gaming won 16-13 against G2 Esports (Train)
  • G2 Esports won 16-10 against Luminosity Gaming (Cobblestone)

Semifinals

FNATIC and Ninjas in Pyjamas walked away with $44,000 each for 3rd and 4th place.

  • Luminosity Gaming won 16-4 against Ninjas in Pyjamas (Overpass)
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas won 16-8 against Luminosity Gaming (Dust II)

G2 Esports won 2-1 against FNATIC

  • FNATIC won 16-4 against G2 Esports (Inferno)
  • G2 Esports won 16-8 against FNATIC (Cache)
  • G2 Esports won 16-12 against FNATIC (Train)

Group Stages

OpTic Gaming and Team Liquid took 5th and 6th place earning $36,000 each, while Astralis and Cloud9 both earned $31,000 for 7th and 8th place.
