Fnatic Acquires Disco Doplan

Just a few moments ago, Fnatic announced on their Twitter account that Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun will be joining their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

Disco doplan previously played for Epsilon Esports, and had an impressive rise as one of Sweden’s top players. His ability to play at a high level, despite his apparent lack of experience in competitive, is what really appealed to Fnatic.

As a resut of this roster change, Fnatic says goodbye to John “wenton” Eriksson. Wenton joined Fnatic as a stand-in, and returned to the team when the roster was changed a few months ago. Fnatic’s CS:GO manager Viktor “vuggo” Jendeby said, “We all like him very much and wish him all the best and good luck for the future.”

Disco is sure to have a huge impact on Fnatic, especially after his successful run with Epsilon. On joining Fnatic, Disco Doplan said, “I really appreciate this opportunity from Fnatic and I hope we will achieve great things together. I believe we have a really strong lineup at the moment and I’m anxious to start playing to become one of the best teams in the world.”

With another change to Fnatic’s roster, following the return of Freddy “KRiMZ” Johansson, Fnatic is gearing up to take the competitive scene by storm.
