Throughout Fortnite’s illustrious history, Epic has regularly added new additions to the game. Some, like Zero Build and Rocket Racing, are permanent, while others are only temporarily available.

If you’ve heard the rumors of a new Marvel LTM in Fortnite and want an explanation, look no further.

An LTM in Fortnite is a limited-time mode. These modes are developed directly from Epic Games and made available for players to enjoy—but they’re not permanent additions to the available game modes. Instead, they only remain available for a limited time.

Fortnite confirmed a new LTM is launching on Tuesday, Sept. 17, and it’s widely expected to be a continuation of the collaboration with Marvel in Chapter Five, season four. According to leaker ShiinaBR, all Marvel Mythics were added to the game files in August and will likely be available in the new LTM.

If true, this means the likes of Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor, Groot’s Bramble Shield, and Iron Man’s Repulsors may make a return. However, the complete list of Marvel Mythic items in Fortnite is quite expansive, and it’s unclear whether they will all be featured or only a select few will be available.

Fortnite’s new Marvel LTM is set to feature around a Heroes vs. Villains theme. This connects to the overarching story in Chapter Five, season four, where Hope is assembling a team to fight back against Dr. Doom after his appearance on the island.

It’s unclear whether the new Marvel LTM will be available for the remainder of the season, which runs until Nov. 2, or whether it will finish earlier than that date given a new Fortnitemares event was leaked by the roadmap to occur around Halloween.
