There are multiple ways to get different buffs in Once Human, and Whim Potions are an easy way to gain temporary advantages aiding you with combat and even traversal, making your life easier.

The Whim Potions in Once Human are easy to craft once you have the right Deviants in your base, and they passively produce materials for you. One of the season goals requires players to use a Whim Potion, but the game doesn’t make it obvious for you to identify and manufacture these items to use them to your advantage.

Here’s everything to know about Whim Portions in Once Human

How to get and use Whim Potions in Once Human

To make a Whim Potion, you’ll need a crafting Deviant like Frog the Leaper, Pup Buddy, Atomix Snail, or Masonic Pyramid and store them in the Isolated Securement Unit to passively produce the unique crafting materials. After a while, you can collect these resources and head straight to your Supplies Bench, where you’ll get the option to craft a Whim Potion with some acid and glass.

Each Deviant has a different resource, leading to a different Whim Potion with unique effects. Frog the Leaper produces Silver Spring, and it helps you craft the Spring Legs Whim Potion that allows you to jump higher than usual by consuming a bit more of your energy. It is useful while escaping an enemy territory and makes it easier to platform and move around the map.

There are other Whim Potions like Featherweight, allowing you to carry more resources in your inventory without slowing you down. Aero Leap allows you to jump a little distance while rolling your character, and my personal favorite is Predator. It turns you invisible for a brief while and makes you deal more damage to weak spots—perfect for boss fights.

The Whim Potion buffs can stack on your normal buffs ,so they’re always nice to have while you’re out on exploration or dungeon-clearing missions in Once Human.
