Fortnite’s Inferno bundle challenges and rewards have been revealed, can release today

The bundle is already available in a few countries.

A new Fortnite cosmetic bundle called Inferno is set to be released this week all around the world. Prominent data miners found detailed information about it in the game files a few weeks ago, and now, Lucas7yoshi has found that a set of six challenges will come along with the Inferno bundle for players who acquire it.

The challenges are simple. They just require players to complete daily challenges, with the first reward being unlocked upon completing one and the last after 14 are finished off. The rewards are what really matter, though. Completing seven daily challenges while owning the Inferno set will give players a total of 1,000 V-Bucks, which are worth $10. The Inferno bundle will reportedly cost $20, which means completing these challenges alone will already give players half their money back in the form of game currency.

Completing 10 and 14 daily challenges will let players unlock the bundle-exclusive Wrap and Pickaxe, which will add even more value to Inferno. The standard bundle is set to come with only the Inferno character outfit.

This will be just another Fortnite cosmetic item with challenges tied to it. Several season eight Battle Pass character outfits put players to work further to unlock additional styles or items from their set. There are simple and easily obtainable ones, like the tier one Hybrid, to the special Discovery outfit Ruin, which players unlock after completing 55 weekly challenges and still get a new challenge set to unlock its back bling and pickaxe.

If these challenges are really coming with Inferno, players will probably have unlimited time to finish them off. Any challenge that’s tied to an item in your locker, such as a bundle or character skin, is usually available forever since they’re not season-exclusive challenges. This means that if Inferno comes in season eight, players can still progress through its challenges in season nine and any other season.

It’s unclear if the Inferno bundle will replace the current Laguna Starter Pack in the Fortnite store, which is also on sale today. The Inferno bundle has already been spotted in the PlayStation Store in a few countries this morning, such as Australia and New Zealand, which might mean it’ll be released worldwide today.
