Ninja will stream from Lollapalooza this summer

This is the second time he's been invited to the event.

Fortnite streamer and gaming star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins will livestream from the music festival Lollapalooza this summer, he announced yesterday on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Ninja said he’ll stream from a booth placed in the general crowd area during the festival, but he didn’t say which games he’ll play. There’ll be an open seat next to him for artists and other personalities who want to play and stream with him.

This is the second time Ninja will be streaming at Lollapalooza. He was also part of the event last year, when he had a booth in the event’s gaming lounge and played with special guests.

Although this is the first time he’ll be among the crowd, Ninja is used to streaming like this. Last year, he played Fortnite with several other Twitch streamers live from Times Square in New York City on New Year’s Eve. He had a booth placed high above the crowd and was there for the entire night.

Since then, Ninja has continued to be one of the most successful streamers on Twitch. At about 14 million followers, he’s still among the most-watched streamers on the platform. He also still holds the record for the most concurrent viewers for a single streamer channel with more than 600,000 people watching him playing Fortnite with Drake in March 2018.

Lollapalooza will take place from Aug. 1 to 4 at Grant Park, Chicago, IL, and the event has yet to announce if Ninja will stream during the entire festival or only in specific days.
