MultiVersus release countdown: Exact start time and date

Get ready for round two.

MultiVersus is ready to take everything from the extended open beta and go all-out with its full-scale release. But before it takes the fight back online, you should be aware that it has a strange schedule for when it goes live.

Whether you spent hundreds of hours in the early MultiVersus build yeeting players out of the Batcave or are gearing up to give the game a shot with its full release, Player First Games put a lot of work into making this refresh feel fast, fleshed out, and fun. This improved version of the game features more content, characters, and crossovers, so there’s something for everyone who wants to get in on the platform fighting action—just be ready for a staggered drop based on these start times.

MultiVersus gets its relaunch on May 28, and unless we hear something different from Warner Bros. or Player First Games, the times will be staggered slightly depending on the platform.

MultiVersus will launch first on consoles at 6am CT on May 28. That will be quickly followed by the PC release at 12pm CT, though the developers aren’t just launching everything at those times.

According to PFG and WB, these times only indicate when the new, full version of MultiVersus will go live on various platforms, meaning you can download the game or update your existing client. From there, the team will “be gradually bringing players in” to the servers in waves to ensure its servers and other key elements run smoothly.
