The next update for Granblue Fantasy: RelinkVersion 1.2.0, is scheduled for late April without a set date. We expect it to release early in the U.S. and in the morning for Europe, just like previous updates. This timing aligns with the evening in Japan, where developer Cygames is based. Although the exact release time isn’t confirmed, Cygames plans to host a special livestream on April 25 to discuss upcoming content in Relink and give details about the next update.

Update 1.2.0 introduces the game’s first new characters since release: Seofon and Tweyen. While Seofon focuses on melee combat with several swords skills, Tweyen wields a bow to attack enemies from range with lots of utility skills. It’s unclear right now what their skillset is and what is the element of their abilities is.

Cygames confirmed you can unlock both characters for free through gameplay, though the company has yet to reveal how and if extra Crewmate Cards are coming in other missions. You still have the option to pay for them with real money if you want to skip the farm.

We’ll update this story when further information about the 1.2.0 update is revealed.
