A Golden Blitz event in Monopoly GO typically drops around twice a month after a new Album has been live for around 30 days. The schedule has been increasing in the back half of September, as we close in on the end of Monopoly Games and the start of the new Marvel GO sticker album season that starts on Sept. 26.

Here’s when the next Monopoly GO Golden Blitz is scheduled to drop.

Each event showcases two gold Monopoly GO stickers you can trade or ask for. Outside of a Golden Blitz, gold stickers are “locked,” and they cannot trade with friends.

The next Golden Blitz in Monopoly GO is scheduled to drop on Sept. 24 at 8am CT. You will have until 7:59 am CT on Sept. 25 before the window to trade gold stickers closes.

The Golden Stickers slated to be featured in the Sept. 24 Blitz are En Garde Gold (Set 22) and Cart Dash Champs (Set 23).

What is the Golden Blitz schedule in Monopoly GO?

There’s no set schedule in Monopoly GO for Golden Blitz events, but the next one starts on Sept. 24. Scopely tends not to drop any Golden Blitz events during the start of a new album and increases the drops toward the end of a sticker album’s season.

A Golden Blitz drop typically happens around twice a month and lasts 24 hours at most. These drop bonuses are all about helping you finish up your album. Schedule times throughout the Monopoly Games Album season were highly inconsistent until August.

At the start of a new season, like the upcoming Marvel GO sticker album season, typically there aren’t any Golden Blitz drops. Expect at least a four-week break before Scopely starts dropping Golden Blitz events again, which should take us into the end of October.

Understanding Golden Blitz in Monopoly GO

Golden Blitz is a flash event in Monopoly GO that lets you exchange a pair of gold stickers. This pair is always pre-defined for each event, and all remaining gold stickers are trade-locked.

In Monopoly GO, the Golden Blitz event tradeable gold stickers rotate, which confirms its purpose of helping players exchange their duplicates for those stickers they need to complete their album. If you send a friend a gold sticker during a Golden Blitz, be sure to have them send you stickers equal to the stars of the golden sticker.

How to get gold stickers

You can get gold stickers randomly from any sticker Pack in Monopoly GO. The odds of getting a gold sticker go up with the star rating of the pack, but these chances can vary with each album. Increase your odds of pulling a gold sticker by earning a Purple sticker pack, especially through tournament leaderboards when it’s a reward for finishing in the top three.

Should you trade during Golden Blitz?

You should always trade your spare gold stickers during Golden Blitz if you have friends in need. These stickers are always in high demand, and the event doesn’t happen often. If a Golden Blitz includes one of the gold stickers you have duplicates of, go for it. But be sure to ask for other duplicate stickers in return, equal to the star value of the Monopoly GO gold sticker you gave away.
