Who will take down one of the richest SC2 tournaments in history?

It wouldn’t be an Esports World Cup without Starcraft 2, with the real-time strategy title hosting 16 world-class players in Riyadh beginning Aug. 14.

Esports World Cup Starcraft 2 format and players

The 16 Starcraft 2 players that attended this year’s Esports World Cup have been split into two groups of eight, where they played out a double-elimination GSL bracket. Each group’s winner headed directly to the final four, while the runners-up headed to a playoff match for the third spot in the final four.

All players eliminated in groups went to a final single-elimination knockout with just one spot remaining to make up the final four. From there, only one could be crowned. Here’s a list of the players that competed in Riyadh for Starcraft 2:
