Looking at the fashion during the Regency era, there are plenty of trends you can apply to your Dress to Impress model, such as long gowns for the ladies and high collars for the gentlemen. The hit Netflix series, Bridgerton, also happens to take place during that period, so feel free to take inspiration from the show’s gorgeous costume design the next time Regency Era shows up in the hit Roblox game.

The best Regency Era outfits will capture the fashion style of that period in British history. We’ll go over what fashion looked like back then and how we can translate that to Dress to Impress.

What does Regency Era mean in Dress to Impress?

In Dress to Impress, “Regency Era” refers to the fashion you’d find in Britain during the early 1800s. For women, it was a lot of long dresses, puffy shoulders, updos, gloves, and other accessories. Meanwhile, men wore high-collared tailcoats and shirts—and spoiler alert: There’s a lot less to work with compared to all the feminine options.

1) Floral

Whether it’s on their dress or in their hair, flowers were commonly found in Regency era fashion as a nice touch to any outfit. For this look, I went with a long dress with a square neckline and frill, adding a floral pattern, puffy shoulder sleeves, and gloves. I completed the look with an updo and flower headband.

2) Elegant

If you aren’t a fan of flowers, try this look using the same dress and puffy sleeves with a dark olive-green pattern. To give the appearance of a longer dress, I actually layered a mermaid dress (obtainable with a code) that flares out at the bottom beneath the main one. The frilly headband at the top pulled the whole look together.

3) High collar

Now, if you’re going for a masculine look with the Regency Era theme, your free options are pretty limited. I did my best to put something together with a blue collared jacket to resemble a tailcoat, leg warmers to resemble knee-high socks, and a bow around the neck.
