As part of the Inside Xbox event earlier today, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be joining the Xbox Game Pass alongside a host of other titles on Nov. 12.
Xbox had been teasing a major PUBG announcement for its XO18 event without giving much details about what it would be. While many believed that the announcement would be the reveal of a new winter map, which was also teased during Xbox’s E3 announcement earlier this year, Xbox fans received the Game Pass news instead.
Alongside the announcement, Xbox also revealed a deal for Xbox Game Pass where players who purchase a new subscription starting today will only have to pay $1 for their first month. After the initial month, though, the usual rate applies.
While some fans will undoubtedly be disappointed that a new map wasn’t revealed, others will at least be excited that PUBG is headed to the Xbox Game Pass in just a few days.
