The team is bringing on a new support player with a lot of experience in competitive Overwatch. Former Fnatic support Scott “Custa” Kennedy will join the roster ahead of the Overwatch BEAT Invitational. With his addition, frequent Mercy player Brice “Gingerpop” Breakey will move from flex support to Lúcio. Gingerpop will also take up the role of in-game leader.

“Custa has been a big name in the scene for quite some time, playing with Fnatic and earning numerous impressive finishes during his time with the team,” Arc6 said in a Twitlonger statement. “We’re confident he will be able to provide what’s missing in the team due to his vast experience.”

The Overwatch BEAT Invitational begins July 7 and features some of North America’s top teams. Cloud9, Counter Logic Gaming, Immortals, LG Evil, Rogue, and Tempo Storm will all participate come next weekend.

Arc6 failed to make it out of the Overwatch Contenders group stage which concluded over the weekend, and are looking to redeem themselves in the BEAT Invitational.

The team is also hoping that a management shakeup will help restore the team to its former glory, allowing them stand up to the teams that knocked them out of Overwatch Contenders.
