Two former Rogue players lead-out the announcement of Eagle Gaming’s new all-French Overwatch team. Following their departure from Rogue in October after the roster was dissolved, Nicolas “NiCO” Moret and Jean-Loius “KnOxXx” Boyer will join Eagle Gaming.

Former Misfits and Luminosity Gaming player Jonathan “Kyrw” Nobre and GamersOrigin players Lucas “Leaf” Loison, Richard “PiPou” Buscemi and Damien “HyP” Souville round out the rest of the roster.

Rogue’s championship-winning Overwatch team was released in October after the organization failed to nab an Overwatch League slot. GamersOrigin’s demise came a month after in November, noting that Overwatch League was not in the organization’s future. Rogue saw massive success in major international tournaments, but the roster was unable to get picked up as a whole for the Overwatch League. Likewise, GamersOrigin placed consistently well at smaller tournaments. They last placed fifth at Overwatch Contenders season one in Europe.

Rogue and GamersOrigin have earned spots in two different Overwatch Contenders regions—North America and Europe, respectively—for the first 2018 season, so it’s likely we’ll see the Eagles Gaming Overwatch roster in a major Overwatch tournament soon.
