How to get Aluminum Ore in Once Human

Building and crafting are huge components of Once Human, which means you need to gather several resources for these projects. Eventually, Aluminum Ore will be a resource you must collect in large quantities to create advanced equipment while leveling up.

Tracking down Aluminum Ore can take a bit of time, and you might not be sure where to go to find it regularly. With Once Human, it all comes down to progression and ensuring your character is at the correct level to find these items. Aluminum is like the other ores you find in the game, and it regularly appears after you reach a certain point.

Where to get Aluminum Ore in Once Human

Aluminum Ore appears when you reach Chalk Peak, a level 32 area. I could unlock this region when I reached level 24 and completed the boss encounter at the Mirage Monolith. You must be at In The Tall Grass story quest, recommended for those level 32 and above in Once Human. Although I am greatly under this requirement, I can tackle these challenges without too much difficulty because of the equipment and items I have in the game.

You want to make sure you also have a Steel Pickaxe as a tool to mine Aluminum Ore spots. The Steel Pickaxe is the minimum tool level needed to begin harvesting these materials, which regularly spawn throughout the Chalk Peak region. After you move on and begin to explore other locations, expect to see Aluminum moving forward, but it won’t be in the lower-level regions. You’ll want to focus on exploring these higher-level regions to gather enough Aluminum for crafting projects. You can also expect to find Iron and Tin mining spots, spawning throughout the Chalk Peak area and other more advanced regions.

When you have enough Aluminum Ore, bring it back to your camp to use for any crafting projects. You also need to make sure you spend your Cipher points to purchase additional items, such as getting access to the Advanced Supplies Workbench or the Advanced Gear Workbench. Another resource you need for other projects is Tungsten, but you’ll try to hunt that down later in your Once Human journey.
