Lee “Heart” Gwan-hyung and Dog8 will be joining Royal Never Give Up’s coaching staff, the organization announced earlier today on its Weibo.
Formerly the support of the infamous Samsung Blue roster, Heart made his way over to China to play in the LPL in 2015. Since then, Heart jumped around different LPL teams before retiring at the end of 2015 to coach LGD Gaming. But, Heart then parted ways with LGD Gaming at the start of the 2017 season.
The second person to join the coaching staff is Dog8. Not much is known about Dog8, other than the fact that he helped coach the LSPL team, EDward Esports (who later became I May) last year.
RNG is currently in first place in its LPL group, with a match record of 4-1. Heart and Dog8 will presumably make their debuts tomorrow, when RNG faces off against Game Talents.
