The Hall of Heroics is a series based on community votes that look at a particular player/team in the esports scene. Analyzing them and their triumphs and gives a lot of love to who they are and what it is they do to enter into “The Hall of Heroics.” In our debut, we look at Albus Nox Luna’s Support Kirill “Likkrit” Malofeev who becomes the first “Hero” to enter the hall.

A gentleman, a competitor, a man who is an absolute legend. He is a man who believes in entertainment for himself and for his fans. With his idea of playing to entertain, him and his team made a nice debut so far at Worlds 2016. If they continue playing the way they are, they could find themselves dethroning either Korea’s ROX Tigers or North America’s Counter Logic Gaming from a top eight spot.
When we look at Kirill “Likkrit” Malofeev out of all supports in Worlds 2016 at the end of week one, he has gathered six kills for his team. There is no doubt that Likkrit is an unorthodox support that was focused on outputing damage and protecting his carry through all of the fights during the CLG and G2 Esports’ matches. His damage potential allowed him to force hard engages that may have looked like moments of madness, but proved to be flashes of brilliance that aided in ANX’s successful teamfighting potential.
kira is trolling me because he outdmged me AGAIN…. pic.twitter.com/wjpJkBqmD6

How many supports do you know who have the potential to deal more damage than every other member of his team? It’s hardly fair to call him a support at this stage – he is simply Likkrit. The guy has the personality that comes off as polarizing from a sports star; he comes off as a guy who doesn’t care and says what he feels. His most recent snub to shake hands with the players of ROX was taken with a pinch of salt but Likkrit owned up to his mistake, went onto the stage after his team’s win against CLG in Group A and extensively apologised for his actions before even answering the questions asked.
There aren’t many people who would outwardly and genuinely apologize for making that mistake. His personality is one of the many aspects that makes him interesting and different when compared to many other pro players. It takes a person with true grit and determination to admit when they are wrong, let alone when they addressing such a large group of people.
In conclusion, we now induct Likkrit to the Hall of Heroics. May he forever pick Brand or Zyra and go on to do great things in all games he “supports” in the future. Likkrit is our first player to join the Hall and who will join him?
Got a Player/Team you want us to cover from the esports scene? Send us an email or tweet at the links below and let us know who should join Likkrit in the Hall of Heroics. The Hall is not limited to one scene, the Hall is welcome to all those who the community believe to sit in it.
