If you find yourself in Chicago with a spare $500, you could buy a Worlds quarterfinals ticket.

As the first half of the 2016 Season World Championship Group Stage has completed, teams’ futures are beginning to take shape, and we are starting to get a better idea of which teams will make the trip from San Francisco to Chicago for the quarterfinals.

Tickets for the semifinals, finals and quarterfinals are completely gone, though there are quite a few tickets for the quarterfinals in Chicago at the Chicago Theatre still available. Tickets are being resold, with prices ranging anywhere from $100-$500 dollars, depending on the day and where you choose to sit.

For instance, if you pick a ticket on Thursday and choose to sit on the main floor, it will cost you about $100. If you were looking to attend the event on Sunday and sit on the main floor in the section closest to the stage, a ticket will cost you $509.

Once again, it is worth noting that these are not tickets sold by Riot. These are tickets that are being resold by their original purchasers, who are unfortunately trying to make a profit on the ticket sales.

Riot lists the tickets as sold out on their website, because technically they are, but if you are desperate to see the action at the Chicago Theatre then you will have to pay a pretty penny.

For those interested, tickets can be bought on TicketMaster.

What do you think of the tickets being re-sold at such high prices? Will you be attending the quarterfinals? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @GAMURScom.
