Don’t you love it when you sit down for the daily LoLdle and you know it immediately as it’s one of your favorite champions? That may or may not have been me today, but guessing today’s League of Legends champion without knowing the voice line already is going to be tough.

LoLdle is the Wordle-like daily puzzle where you’re given a single voice line from League. Your job is to find the champ who says it—and sometimes you’re given a pretty general quote with little connecting to others. That might be the case today: Here’s the solution for the Aug. 18 LoLdle puzzle.

The LoLdle quote on Aug. 18 is, “I am the voice of the silenced” The League champion who says this line is Bel’Veth.

Finally, a one-shot—my first in a few days! It helps when one of your favorite champs comes up in the LoLdle; I love me some flying stingray jungle action on the Rift, and I’m all too familiar with Bel’Veth’s “voice of the silenced” voice line which plays on-pick.

As it’s an on-pick voice line, it’s one many players have no doubt heard over the years since the Empress of the Void was added to League (yes, it actually has been years now). Those newer to the game may not be that familiar with this one, however, as Bel’Veth is currently one of the lowest-picked champs in League according to stats site U.GG.

The Empress has seen some more play in the pro scene, but if you hadn’t found the Bel’Veth connection yet, you might have needed a few guesses here—it’s a pretty non-descript voice line today for LoLdle if you didn’t know it, so I can see why it might be a tough one. Fortunately not for me, but I expect to be back to the drawing board for tomorrow’s quote!
