Which LoL champion says, ‘Eventually, the sand claims us all’?

This quote will guide us to glory.

If you were hoping for a challenging LoLdle quote today, you’re in for a treat. Today’s League of Legends champion quote will stump many veterans, unless they’re fond of sand-loving champions from Runeterra—of which there’s quite a few.

The trickiest hurdle here is this champion may not be your first guess or even your second. If you need help solving the Aug. 1 LoLdle quote, I’ve got the answer.

Who says, “Eventually the sand claims us all,” in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Aug. 1 is, Eventually, the sand claims us all.” The League champion who says this line is Azir.

As we had another support champion quote yesterday, I knew the day would come when the quote would be for a champion I haven’t played or one I might not think about. And I was right. But, as I’m a Faker fan, I’ve come to learn a lot about mid lane champions, which is how I went from “Which League champions want to bury its victims in the sand?” to Azir, who ended up actually being the right answer today.

Azir has two abilities with sand in their proper names, Conquering Sands (Q) and Shifting Sands (E), so it’s fitting that he says this quote while attacking.

While Azir’s pick rate may have exploded after Faker’s impressive display at the 2023 League World Championship, he’s suffered tremendously this season. In fact, he has a 46.38 percent win rate, according to the League stat tracker U.GG. But as we draw nearer to the 2024 League World Championship, we expect Riot will probably buff or at least make changes to the Emperor of the Sands to prop him up a little in ranked play.
