After a split of high’s and low’s Team liquid are required to make huge changes in order to make it to the worlds and try to perform better than a LMS team in them.
1. Replacing members
Team member changes are the biggest change which can be brought to a team and the only player worth replacing is Quas. He has lost all games but one in this split when he plays tanks. If the meta requires to be a tank Team liquid will never progress and will always have a issue. If they can find a solid Top lane talent who can play tanks and play carry champions in a required level they will progress with Piglet and Fenix has main threats.
2.Pick and ban
Team liquid’s pick ban is perfect. They pick excellent champions and it helps the team to excel in the roles and provide them to make plays. However they have awful awful read on the opponents champions and playstyles. Even when if you pick right you will lose when you know exactly how your opponent is going to pick. Cloud 9 picks were easily known in the last three games and also their playstyle is exactly same as before. There was absolutely no variance and there was no knowledge on how the counter for the players. Thinking a little wins games.
3.Map movement
The number of times map movement made everyone cry is extremely high. Wards are resources which needs to be used in order to make plays. They really need to understand how the map movement should happen. Off season is a good time to work on this aspect.
4.Itemization
Coaches and analysts need to work on Itemization’s. The team does not play with proper itemization’s and play with huge problems with the style. I have never seen a team make so many mistakes in itemization’s. Please look on itemization’s.
5.Role definition
Some players in the team are being used more when compared to the rest of them. Xpecial should be playmaking with his talent and experience. He is not a player who should play janna or alistar. Change your roles and make it simple for the team to understand.
This team has a lot of potential and wants to improve. Lets see how the offseason treats them.
