Sjokz makes return to LEC hosting desk

The queen is back.

The Belgian has been hosting the LEC (formerly known as EU LCS) since the European league began in 2013. She’s attended numerous Mid-Season Invitationals and World Championships over the past decade, cementing herself as one of the most recognizable faces in the League esports scene.

Sjokz has been absent from the LEC broadcast this year, though. On Jan. 27, she revealed that had failed to find a “mutually acceptable agreement with Riot” but was “hopeful” she could find a “common ground” so she can appear back on the show.

The first four weeks of the 2022 LEC Spring Split have seen Trevor “Quickshot” Henry host the league. The South African returned to the LEC broadcast this year after taking an extended break.

When comes to the LEC itself, the show has expanded its list of casters and analysts from week to week. In 2022, fans have seen numerous new faces step up from the European Regional Leagues (ERLs).

The LEC returns this weekend—and Sjokz will be returning with it. The action resumes on Friday, Feb. 11 at 11am CT. Team BDS is scheduled to take on Misfits Gaming in the opening game of week five.
