OMG and WE have just tied it up 1-1. Next to me is a player everyone really likes and everyone is really familiar with – OMG’s ADC – Uzi! Hello~

Uzi: Hi everyone.

I feel like the tempo of these two games went by rather quickly. Was this something you expected?

Uzi: I honestly didn’t think these two games would finish so smoothly. They were the type of games where you wouldn’t even have a chance of turning things around.

The first game seemed a bit unexpected. What do you think caused your collapse in the first game?

Uzi: We had a problem picking our champions in our first game. We banned out all the champions we were good at and we weren’t able to get what we hoped to get. Our mistakes in the early game were also really big. We didn’t want it to affect our mentality so we decided to surrender.

You have fans that really look out for you, especially when you had a few mishaps last week. But this week we’ve seen you completely adjust your mentality and you showed us such a satisfying second game today. How do you usually adjust your mentality for these games? It seems you might have a mental coach for these scenarios.

Uzi: Yes.

Does it work?

Uzi: He’ll just always tell us to play better in the next game. Everyone knows we have to finish the games so we try not to let our mentality from the first game carry over to the next game.

So your mental coach will just keep urging you to keep going, right?

Uzi: Right.

If you didn’t have a coach like this, would you have any way of fixing your mentality on your own? Something everyone would do together to make a decision?

Uzi: We all cheer for each other, saying things like “try to play better in the next game! The first game is already over.”

It seems like in the last game, your team composition focused more on the early game. It seemed like it was also good for roaming. Did you focus on what you could fix from the first game?

Uzi: We talked with our coach and agreed to take champions we were good with–and not ban them this time. Especially mid-lane. In the first game, we banned out all the OP champions and WE was able to get Ahri and we didn’t have a mid-lane champion that could really carry.

For your team, we’ve paid a lot of attention to your roster swaps, especially with your bot-lane ADC and support. How do you usually choose who will play before a game?

Uzi: We look at the state of how a player is beforehand. If a player looks good, then he’s more likely to play.

So for this team composition we just saw, do you feel like you’re used to it?

Uzi: Uh… I’m not too clear on that yet, haha.

What do you think about your synergy with your support right now?

Uzi: Our synergy is… okay right now.

Your family also came out to watch you today.

Uzi: Ah, yep~

Are they here to cheer you on?

Uzi: Yep.

Are you nervous when they’re here to watch?

Uzi: Yes, I’m still a little nervous.

Do you feel pressure?

Uzi: To be honest, there’s not really any pressure…

Do they understand your games?

Uzi: I don’t think they understand, haha.

But they understand when you win, right?

Uzi: Yes.

Do you have anything you want to say to them?

Uzi: I want to thank them for always cheering for me. Thank you.

Do you have any words for your fans or viewers?

Uzi: Thank you to the fans who have kept supporting me. Thank you, everyone.

After the first game, a lot of the fans screamed their hearts out cheering for you. It’s really not easy for them. Well, we can’t wait for more games down the line! Work hard, Uzi!

Uzi: Thank you.
