As League of Legends‘ 2019 Mid-Season Invitational kicks off with the Play-in Group Stage, the Mid-Season Trials event is also beginning for the players at home. This event is pretty unique in that League users can choose which house they want to represent during MSI—the Council, the United, the Faceless, or the Warband.

There will be a set of missions to introduce each house, which will begin on May 2, 2019 at 3pm CT. Once you’ve chosen a house, you’ll earn points for that house by completing gameplay missions and MSI watch rewards, all of which begin on May 8, 2019.

Each house represents a certain mindset when heading onto the Summoner’s Rift. There’s the Council’s calculated style of play, the United’s hopeful demeanor, the Faceless’ unpredictability, and the bloodthirsty gameplay of the Warband.

Each week, players will receive an update on house standings and points will be awarded to members of the winning house. Each week, the points awarded will increase, giving each house the chance to come back, no matter how large the deficit.

At the end of the event, everyone in the winning house earns a golden house emote, an in-game finisher animation, and an icon. There’s also a plethora of loot that players can claim, and there is also a Trials Pass that people can buy for 1650 RP.
