Here are the LoL Patch 14.19 patch notes

A huge update is upon us.

Patch 14.19 will see a massive system update. These types of updates happen occasionally; in this instance, Riot wants to weaken Legendary items as they look to target snowballing and late-game combat pacing. As for champions, K’Sante is once again the center of attention. In 14.19, he’ll receive large updates as Riot wants to improve the “playing-against experience.”

Lethal Tempo will also return to League of Legends with a few tweaks. Out goes the late-game attack speed and in comes extra on-hit damage.

Here’s everything about the League Patch 14.19 update.

When will LoL Patch 14.19 go live?

League Patch 14.19 will go live on Wednesday, Sept. 25, according to the official League of Legends patch schedule. Here are the key release times for Patch 14.19:

  • 1pm CT (NA)
  • 3am KST (Korea)
  • 6pm GMT (EU West)
  • 8pm CET (EU North East)

On the day of the update, please plan accordingly and expect several hours of downtime. As always, matchmaking will be turned off across all League queues three hours before the update.

What’s in LoL Patch 14.19?

Riot cracks down on Legendary items in ‘huge system nerf’

Riot confirmed Legendary items are getting a pretty substantial nerf in LoL Patch 14.19, with all Legendaries receiving between a five and twelve percent nerf. This is to slow down snowballing and late-game combat pacing. Additionally, movement speed, ability haste, and damage output will be reduced on classes and subclasses that don’t need to be great in those departments, while keeping them on the classes that do.

You can now preorder buy Legendaries

Coming to Patch 14.19, players can now partially buy Legendary items before even setting foot on the Summoner’s Rift. If you know what you’re going to be playing (for example, ADCs with similar builds), you can pre-build that Legendary item ahead of time with a simple button click.

Players will receive an on-screen reminder when they can purchase the Legendary in the game, and also inform you if you don’t have items. This will be specifically helpful for newer players who can lag behind the rest of the field due to a lack of understanding of items and when you should be buying them.

Ultimate Spellbook returns to LoL

Ultimate Spellbook was announced as a returning mode for Worlds 2024 season, and the mode returns in Patch 14.19 with some changes that should make it an improvement from the previous version. Ultimates will not only be available to players at the start of the game, they will now be offered throughout. Therefore, if you don’t like the ultimates you were given, don’t worry! You’ll have the chance to earn a new one. During the game, Riot will also be tempting players with offers of gold and stat bonuses to pry them away from the perfect ultimate.

Along with those changes, more Ulternate Summoners have been added to the mode!

  • Smolder
  • Hwei
  • Ziggs
  • Leona
  • Nautilus
  • Ornn
  • Nami
