Song “Fly” Yong-jun, previously of KT Rolster, Longzhu Gaming, and Gold Coin United, has been picked up by FlyQuest to complete their starting lineup for the 2018 NA LCS, according to a report from ESPN today.

He’ll apparently be playing alongside Lee “Flame” Ho-jong, Andy “AnDa” Hoang, Jason “WildTurtle” Tran, and William “Stunt” Chen.

While Fly was in the LCK, he helped KT Rolster finish second and third place in the LCK 2016 Spring and Summer Splits respectively before joining Longzhu Gaming for the spring of 2017. During that split, Longzhu performed terribly—the worst in the league—producing career-worsts for almost all of their players, including Fly.

After that demoralization, Fly moved to North America to play for Gold Coin United in the NA CS.

Fly has had many ups and downs throughout his career, and it seems that he has never been able to reach his peak. Now that he’s back in a professional league, he’ll seek to prove that he’s still a top tier player from his days on KT Rolster.

Fly, Flame, AnDa, and Stunt are all new to FlyQuest. WildTurtle is the only player to remain from the team’s 2017 roster. Hai Lam has reportedly signed with the Golden Guardians, while the others are still exploring their options.
