Hunter’s next legendary card is a boon for Beast Hunter

This card arrives in game next month.

Hunter has generally received pretty awful legendary cards in Hearthstone.

The latest card revealed on the Blizzard livestream by game designer Peter Whalen however could change that.

The combined Battlecry and Deathrattle, like Aya Blackpaw, has been shown to be very powerful. It creates an immediate threat on board with an impactful Battlecry, but also has implications if you clear if away.

This is exactly in that vein. If you build your deck right, this card could draw bombs pretty consistently. It might not be as flashy as the stream advertised with Swamp King and King Krush, but it could still be pretty damn good.

Recruit is a new mechanic from the set that pulls a random minion from your deck. It won’t appear in every class, and only appears on a few cards.

The new expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs, will release sometime in December. A concrete release date has not yet been announced.

If you are planning to invest real money in a bunch of packs, make sure you pre-order them for the best value. The bundle of 50 packs and an exclusive card back is $49.99.
