Rogue has never had secrets in Hearthstone before. But that’s about to change.

Sudden Betrayal is a card from the game’s newest set that was revealed today on the Blizzard livestream.

According to designer Peter Whalen, Rogue initially had Secrets in early Hearthstone design. But with mechanics like Combo already they didn’t need them. Now they are back—and this won’t be the only one in the set.

Sudden Betrayal works a lot like Betrayal, or Misdirection. Whether or not Secret Rogue is a thing remains to be seen while cards like Mad Scientist are not in Standard—but maybe that’s a deck for Wild.

The new expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs, will release sometime in December. A concrete release date has not yet been announced.

If you are planning to invest real money in a bunch of packs, make sure you pre-order them for the best value. The bundle of 50 packs and an exclusive card back is $49.99.
