Card reveal season is in full swing.

With legendary weapons being added to the game in Hearthstone’s next expansion, some people were very cynical.

How, they asked, could weapons ever be really strong in a meta where Acidic Swamp Ooze and Harrison Jones can all keep them in check? Well it turns out Blizzard thought of that.

The latest card to be revealed in the set is a card that counters directly those weapon destruction effects.

Rummaging Kobold is a three mana 1/3 that returns one of your destroyed weapons to your hand, allowing you to replay it. This will obviously be incredibly useful for the new legendary weapons, but could also give you an extra Atiesh, or a Truesilver, or anything else that’s pretty damn useful.

If we’re headed for a weapon meta, this could be the card that totally runs the table.

The new expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs, will release sometime in December. A concrete release date has not yet been announced.

If you are planning to invest real money in a bunch of packs, make sure you pre-order them for the best value. The bundle of 50 packs and an exclusive card back is $49.99.
