Shadowreaper Anduin is the latest Death Knight from Knights of the Frozen Throne

This card will blow your mind.

The next Death Knight in Hearthstone’s upcoming expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne, has been revealed—and it’s incredibly powerful.

Shadowreaper Anduin is an eight-mana Priest Death Knight. Along with gaining five armor, Shadowreaper Anduin has a Battlecry ability, which destroys all minions with five or more attack.

This Death Knight also has a new Hero Power, called Voidform. This ability allows you to deal two damage—but that’s not all. Every time you play a card, Voidform gets refreshed and you can use the two-mana ability once again.

At first glance, pairing this card with Raza the Chained looks to be very powerful. Raza makes your hero power zero for the rest of the game, if your deck has no duplicates, which could make for a deadly combination with Voidform once Shadowreaper Anduin has been played.

This Death Knight could even be powerful enough to push Kazakus Priest into the upcoming Hearthstone meta.

Blizzard also revealed another Knights of the Frozen Throne card prior to Shadowreaper Anduin’s reveal. Fallen Sun Cleric is a two-mana 2/1 neutral minion with the Battlecry ability to give a friendly minion plus-one attack and health.

This card may remind some Hearthstone players of Shattered Sun Cleric, which is a three-mana 3/2 neutral minion with the same effect as Fallen Sun Cleric. Although this doesn’t appear to be a game-changing card, Fallen Sun Cleric is a low-cost card that can be used to give some of your other minions a small buff.

Now that we know exactly when Knights of the Frozen Throne is being released, Hearthstone fans can look forward to trying out these new cards when they go live on Aug. 10.
