Knights of the Frozen Throne will be released on Aug. 10, Blizzard confirmed today. You have less than one week to prepare to take on the Death Knight. To get ready, Blizzard is offering a pre-purchase deal for the expansion.

For $50, you can pre-purchase 50 Knights of the Frozen Throne cards, as well as unlock the Frostmourne card back. The card back will be usable as soon as you buy it, but the cards will stay sealed until Aug. 10.

Of course, the Frost Festival is ongoing, offering free Knights of the Frozen Throne packs for completing Arena quests. Likewise, these will be available once the expansion officially launches.

Knights of the Frozen Throne is set in Northrend, one of the most iconic areas in the Warcraft universe. The frozen area is packed with undead scourge, centered around the Ice Crown Citadel: That’s where the Lich King rules from the Frozen Throne.

Hearthstone cards have been rolling out since the expansion’s announcement. They’ll likely continue, too, until Knights of the Frozen Throne releases. So start preparing your decks, because things are about to get real frosty in Hearthstone.
