Xbox Game Pass: September 2024 all game releases and leavers

Coming and going.

September has arrived and there are a bunch of games coming out through the month to enjoy. So many, in fact, that it’s hard not to see what a good deal Xbox Game Pass is this month.

Not only are we getting access to a bunch of games already in both the Xbox and PC catalog, but a few heavy hitters are coming out through September to whet our appetite ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Oct. 25 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Dec. 9.

PC gamers are definitely getting the better selection this time around, though, which includes the following titles.

Sept. 1Atomic Heart
Sept. 1Guilty Gear Strive

Despite losing Guilty Gear Strive and Atomic Heart in September, PC players have the highly anticipated Frostpunk 2 to look forward to on Sept. 20 at no extra charge to game pass owners. While there are a sprinkling of other decent titles as well, like Age of Mythology: Retold, it’s hard not to see Frostpunk 2 as the heavy-hitter of the month.

Of course, this list can change as the month progresses. Surprise announcements and game drops aren’t uncommon for Game Pass owners, and the full list of games leaving the service could expand throughout the first week, but it’s still a pretty cool list of new and classic games to dive into if you’re looking for something to play while waiting for releases on other consoles.

After all, Astro Bot and Zelda are on the horizon for PS5 and Nintendo Switch owners, so September is really turning into the month of gaming for 2024.
