Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 beats Pokken Tournament in EVO Vote

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is set to become the ninth and final game played at EVO 2017 this July, just beating out Pokken Tournament in the fan vote.

This year, in an effort to allow fans to vote for what games they wanted to see at EVO 2017, the company announced a fan vote via cash donations, with all the proceeds going to charity. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 beat Pokken by an amount of $71,640 to Pokken’s $62,431, as over $150,000 was raised in total for charity.

This game is set to join an already stacked lineup of titles at EVO 2017, including Injustice 2, Street Fighter V and Smash Bros Melee.
