Five New York Excelsior players will appear at the New York Mets’ Major League Baseball stadium on April 2, the team announced yesterday.

Kim “Pine” Do-hyeon, Park “Saebyeolbe” Jong-ryeol, Song “Janus” Jun-hwa, Hong “ArK” Yeon-jun, and XL2 player Hwang “Fl0w3R” Yeon-oh will participate in a “meet-and-greet” event at Citi Field. Korean esports website Inven reported that Saebyeolbe will throw out the first pitch ahead of the Mets and Philadelphia Phillies game. NYXL “declined to comment at this point” on the first pitch in a statement issued to Dot Esports.

“You can find the most current information on their trip to New York and the meet-and-greet at Citi Field here,” a NYXL spokesperson said in an email to Dot Esports.

The Citi Field meet-and-greet will be held at 5:40pm ET at the Bud Light Concourse at Citi Field. The players will make a second appearance at the stadium’s Shake Shack at 8:15pm ET. The team noted in the announcement that fans should stick around for the game after the meet-and-greet event to “witness a very special surprise.”

It’s possible that surprise could be Saebyeolbe throwing out the first pitch, though that remains unconfirmed at this time.

NYXL is owned by a division of the Mets’ ownership group, Sterling.VC—so the brand integration makes sense for the Overwatch League team. NYXL said it’ll have team flags on hand so that fans can represent the Overwatch League roster while cheering on the Mets.
