Splatoon 2 is the main game of the event, with I63 acting as one of the few qualifiers for the 2018 Splatoon 2 U.K. Championship. The winning team will gain entry to the grand finale this November, where the best squad will be crowned the U.K. champion. The winners of that tournament will represent the U.K. at the annual Splatoon 2 European Championships in Spring 2019.

ARMS, Mario Tennis Aces, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will all be getting their own small tournaments at the event, too.

The announcement follows the success of the NintendoUKVS event held in London at the end of July, where Nintendo offered a mix of competitive events and casual tournaments for those looking to enjoy themselves and relax. It was also the place where Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was playable in the U.K. for the first time.

Nintendo also recently hosted a Splatoon 2 event at Summer in the City in the U.K. by bringing together British YouTubers to create teams to face off against each other on the main stage. Popular personality Will “RabbidLuigi” Allen was the eventual winner of the event.

Competitive tournaments won’t be the only thing available for those attending I63, however. Nintendo plans to have a truck load of its titles on offer to try out. These titles include upcoming games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Monster Hunter Generations, alongside some other readily-available games such as Fortnite and Pokémon for the 3DS.
