The team have been picked up by Swiss organisation mYinsanity, after a period of strong performances in European competition.

The team most recently prevailed against Heroes World Championship finalists Dignitas to take third place in the Fragbite Masters tournament behind Liquid and Fnatic. They also have a number of online cup wins to their name.

The Spartanien lineup has gone through a number of changes this year. In September, it replaced its entire team with that of European rival, Alternate Fancy.

The team currently consists of four players—Martin “Crozzby” Rugh, Nils “Nurok” Gebhardt, Simon “Darkmok” Tabin and Markus “Blumbi” Hanke. The support role remains open following the departure of Raoul “GerdamHerd” Saurbier to Team Liquid.

After filling the role for the team at the Fragbite Masters, former Fnatic support Jonathan “Wubby” Gunnarsson will continue with the team under the new banner for this weekend’s DreamHack Winter tournament on a tryout basis.
