The organization has signed Larry Lurr, an almost nine-year veteran of Super Smash Bros. esports.

The player is considered to be the best Fox player in the world, with titles to his name in Brawl, Melee, Project M, and Super Smash Bros for Wii U. In 2016, he finished in the top eight at a number of major events including CES, EVO, and GENESIS.

Looking to continue that form in 2017, Lurr has already claimed his first title of the year at the PPT Winter event in Germany this past weekend.

Lurr is the second Smash player signed to play under the Misfits banner. The team brought on top 20 player Ryan “The Moon” Coker-Welch in November of last year.

The organization also recently brought on a Hearthstone roster for the first time, signing George “Georgec” Connoly, Mikuláš “Pokrovac” Dio, and Stanislav “StanCifka” Cifka.
