Everything you need to know.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in early 2020, a game made two years prior surprisingly came into the spotlight. That’s right, we’re talking about Among Us

When everyone was disconnected and couldn’t see their friends, many players dove into InnerSloth’s production. Among Us was elevated even more thanks to Twitch and YouTube content creators jumping into the game.

Contrary to many other small studios, InnerSloth didn’t give up on their title in its initial stages, leading to an eventual surge in players. The developers began to regularly launch updates and patches to Among Us, which made its players appreciate the game even more.

At The Game Awards 2021, InnerSloth announced the development of another game: Among Us VR. Since then, new details have been revealed. In April, a gameplay trailer went live during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, which you can check out here. The developers also announced the release date for Among Us VR, which is scheduled to premiere this year’s holiday season.

But how exactly will you be able to play Among Us VR?

PlayStation players will need the PSVR, while PC gamers will be required to have a headset such as the Oculus Rift. Both of them will do just fine to enjoy the game. The game will also go live on PSVR 2 in the future, once this headset launches itself.

When it comes to gameplay changes in the VR version of the game, not much is known so far. InnerSloth, however, is expected to release more and more details as time goes by. To keep up to date, make sure to follow the devs on Twitter.
