Today FaZe revealed the team they’ll bring to Columbus, featuring two new faces.

Patrick “Aches” Price and Austin “Slasher” Liddicoat will join the squad, building on the core of Doug “Censor” Martin and Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyakov.

Price brings experience as the captain of the best team in the history of Call of Duty. His move to FaZe was all but a formality, as he’s been playing with the team for weeks but needed to resolve his contract status with Evil Geniuses. While Evil Geniuses struggled at the end of the year, Price is still a superstar player with loads of experience. He’s won the first major tournament in each of the past three releases of Call of Duty, a good sign for this upcoming major.

Joining Price on FaZe is Liddicoat, the young superstar from Noble Gaming. Liddicoat helped put Noble on the map, leading them to the finals of the MLG Call of Duty league last month. But a messy offseason with some miscommunication between Noble management and their players led to him becoming a free agent. Now, he’ll be wearing the tag of one of Call of Duty’s most iconic teams.

The new FaZe lineup should be a top contender in Columbus. The team placed in the top eight during this weekend’s MLG 5k, one of the set of online tournaments MLG holds that will determine all-important seeding in Columbus. But with Price in the mix, the veteran pair of Martin and Zhelyakov, and the young gun Liddicoat, the live tournament should be their time to shine.
